Autumn Popp is currently a masters student at Lawrence Technological University, and an Architectural Intern at SmithGroup.
Currently progressing through year 5 of 5 in the Accelerated Masters Program at LTU, Autumn has always sought to excel in her academics as well as in her projects. She is well versed in Rhino7, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Revit, Grasshopper, Sketch Up, CoveTool as well as physical model making, and photography. Her projects reflect her passion for environmental conservation, renewable energy integration, modern structural systems, daylighting exploration, cultural integration, and community involvement. Another main focus of Autumn’s work is creating experiential and intriguing spaces. Often designing to highlight views of the site, meandering pathways that allow for exploration, as well as restful spaces that allow for contemplation, Autumn wants people to experience her architecture in a personal, and meaningful way.
Autumn also has office experience in: specification writing, creating material boards, interfacing with clients and consultants, field measuring, creating 2D and 3D models from site photos and historical drawings, designing renovation projects and landscape layouts, designing building facades, and drafting elevations, plans, and building details.
